Kitchen hob extractor in chimney flue?

I heard there might be a condensation issue if i connect my hob extractor to the chimney flue. It is metal tubing and spans 2 floors. Any ideas on the matter?

providing the filter is in good condition and all fat is removed there should not be a problem and the fan is suitable for that length of tubing In commercial kitchens the fan is often put at the outlet
